Institute Hails Armed Forces Patriotism, Sacrifice

President and chairman-in-council, Mr Alex Ndudi Enebeli of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria (ISMN) (Chartered) has joined Nigerians around the world in celebrating Armed Forces Remembrance Day and the efforts of the military both at home and overseas.

Enebeli, in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja yesterday, commended the sacrifice and commitment of the Nigerian Armed Forces in the maintenance of national, sub national, regional and global peace and security.

He said the country must continue to appreciate and acknowledge the patriotic contributions and sacrifices of the Nigeria Armed Forces in the fight against insurgency, kidnapping, banditry, armed robbery, external aggression and other forms of criminality across the country.

He added that 2024 celebration provides an opportunity to recognize their dedication and risks faced by those serving our nation, saying the institute has cause to appreciate veterans who continue to contribute to “our way of life, long after they leave the Armed Forces.”

“As an Institute established to proffer solutions to challenges; the Institute is determined to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the commander- in-chief of the armed forces,” he said.

He stressed the need for all to celebrate the Armed Forces Remembrance Day, as a mark of honour for the sacrifices of the men and women of the Armed forces of Nigeria who have shown commitment to the unity of the nation and the task of building a better society.

He urged the present administration not to relent in its commitment to always encourage and support the state and local government chapters of the Nigeria Legion and other security agencies in all areas within the limits of available resources.

“The Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria (Chartered) shall continue to support public and private sectors for quality service delivery, also open to meaningful collaborations with other relevant organisations for nation building and sustainable development,” he said.
