THAT PROPOSED SICKENING POLICY THAT ARTISTS MUST SHOT THEIR FILMS IN NIGERIA
Facebook ‘warriors’
are now up in ‘arms’ because one of the PSquare music duo said sometime he
regrets being a Nigerian in response to the minister of Information, Alhaji Lai
Mohammed’s recent assertion that government would soon ban Nigerian artists
from shooting their films abroad to help generate jobs in Nigeria, as if Lai
Mohammed and his co-travellers that go abroad and spend billions of naira in
foreign hospitals are generating jobs in the health sector at home. So PSquare should not go abroad to shot video
but Lai Mohammed and Buhari can go abroad to receive medical treatment? PSquare
cannot go abroad to shot his video, but PMB and Lai Mohammed's children are all
graduating from British universities. Meanwhile PSquare shot its video with its
own money but PMB and Lai Mohammed use your money to treat themselve abroad
when they are sick, and you are on Facebook defending such an irresponsible and
selfish policy. Who is that reasonable person who is against PSquare for
deriding the proposed policy against shooting films abroad by Nigerian artists?
That policy if it would ever see light of the day would be a rape on artistic
freedom. It must be condemned by all creative people and lovers of creativity. As
for you Facebook ‘warrior’ who defends every evil policy even when it is
against your own interest, how do you sleep at night if you have a conscience!
