Buhari Can Lead Nigeria To Greatness– APC Chieftain

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Chief Olusegun Osinkolu, has said that President Muhammadu Buhari knows what it takes to lead Nigeria and has secured the opportunity to offer it.

Osinkolu who stated this while speaking with newsmen in his Ayede Ekiti country home, at the weekend noted, that President Buhari sought the votes of the people and got same by being elected as President and Commander-in-Chief of Nigeria’s Armed Forces.

While warning Nigerians against those he called enemies of progress of the country which would always come with issues which had no relation with the needs of the common man to cause disaffection and divert attention, Osikolu urged the people to support the president with prayers and good wishes.

Describing the president as a forthright, transparent and incorruptible leader, the former senatorial aspirant in Ekiti North senatorial district who advised  that such individuals should not be allowed to steal the latest opportunity from them said, an issue like Buhari being 72 years old should ordinarily not attract any attention when age bears no link whatsoever with performance.

According to him, “I have convened this meeting with you to alert Nigerians against the readiness of busy bodies who have decided to assume their elements, bringing up one non-issue after another to sway attention from the path of desirable progress and development upon which President Buhari is set.

“The fact that Buhari admitted that being 72 years is a fact which attests to the fact of being credible, forthright, transparent and simple.”
