Trump Will Be Right Not To Accept Result Of November Election If…

 A reporter recently asked President Donald Trump if he would accept the result of the November presidential election in United States if he loses the election to the candidate of the Democratic Party, former vice president, Joe Biden. First, Trump insisted that he would not lose, but the reporter persisted in his questioning and Trump replied, “We shall see!” That was enough for CNN and others to conclude that Trump said that he would not accept the result of the election if he loses. 

Beyond the recent question on whether he would accept the result or not Trump had made it clear in the past that only a transparent process would guarantee a smooth transition of power if he loses. Back to the question posed by the reporter! 

Trump was adamant that there is no way that he would lose if the election is held mostly by people physically voting on election day at voting points, which had been the tradition for generations, but the Democrats taking advantage of the coronavirus pandemic is discouraging people from going out to vote, rather they want Americans to opt for mail-in-ballot. What the Democrats want is for people to receive the ballots by mail at their homes and return their ballots by mail after voting. This practice is fraught with fraud and Trump has been complaining about this. 

Unfortunately, the mainstream media in the United States is leading the campaign discouraging people from coming out to vote, even as they inflate figures of coronavirus deaths just to give the impression that the virus is still ravaging America. But the same media had been encouraging the Black Life Matter mob, who had been rioting on the streets burning down buildings, wearing neither masks nor maintaining social distancing. The same mobs that are always on the streets protesting are often encouraged by the CNN and others but once it is about voting in November election, the media changes gear, saying that it was not safe to come out and vote. 

To heighten the impending disaster about to befall America if not properly handled, a recent opinion poll revealed that the majority of Trump supporters said that they prefer coming out to vote. You can glean this from thousands of them parking the arenas for Trump’s campaign. Unlike Trump supporters, the majority of Biden’s supporters say that they are going to use the mail-in-ballot option. This seemingly deep polarization is likely to make the outcome of the election messy. 

Already Trump is said to have lined up lawyers to contest results of elections in which there are likely to be electoral fraud. Trump doesn’t want to be cheated. He wants to lose or win transparently. If you ask me, I think that the best option is for Americans to go out and vote, while mail-in-ballot should be for only the Americans living outside the United States as had been the tradition for generations.
