Dino Melaye's Push For Pay Cut For Lawmakers

The senator-elect representing Kogi West senatorial district in Kogi state on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon Dino Melaye is leading a campaign for pay cut for incoming lawmakers. The campaign is coming  on the heels of recent revelations that Nigeria's lawmakers are the highest paid in the world in a country where majority of the population live on less than a dollar a day. It is a campaign that most Nigerians are hoping that Melaye succeeds, especially in the face of dwindling government revenue.
