Dunamis Donates Food Items To Less Privileged

As part of activities marking the Easter Celebrations, Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Phase IV, Kubwa, Abuja has donated food items to the less privileged in the area.
The church shared the joy of Easter with children at Divine Wound of Jesus Orphanage, Ark of Refuge Orphanage, Kubwa Divine Orphanage Home; patients at General Hospital, King’s Care Hospital, Unity Clinic and Maternity, and inmates at Police Area Command Kubwa.
The food items donated to the less privileged include rice, noodles, toiletries, fruit juice, baby milk, pampers and biscuits. Others are bibles, the church’s daily devotional-Seeds of Destiny, cloths and footballs.
The Pastor of the Church, Great Olusegun Ayodele prayed for the recipients and urged them to have faith in God who is able to change their situation, emphasizing that with God all things are possible.
Pastor Ayodele further urged the recipients to turn away from sin and accept Jesus who rose from death which is the reason for the Easter celebrations.
He also prayed for the nation and enjoined Nigerians to exercise their franchise again on 11th April 2015, in the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections.
Pastor Ayodele who was accompanied by his wife, Jane and members of the church commended the Independent National Electoral Commission for conducting free, fair and credible Presidential and National Assembly polls on 28th March 2015, and urged the commission to rectify the lapses in previous elections as the people’s vote must count in the overall result.
He stressed the need to elect godly candidates in the polls who will govern with the fear of God and deliver dividends of democracy to the longsuffering citizenry. He assured Nigerians that the country will remain united and wax stronger as the great arsenal of democracy in Africa.
He advised newly elected leaders to rule with the fear of God as they will give account of their stewardship to the Almighty. Ayodele warned against profligacy, corruption, injustice, tribalism and impunity which impeded the nation’s democratic progress. He urged Nigerians to be alive to their civic responsibilities and vote out public officers who failed to justify the confidence reposed in them. He said the nation will experience spiritual revival that will turnaround the people’s captivity as they return to God and do His will.
Meanwhile, members of the church carried out sanitation exercise on roads within Kubwa Village Market on Saturday 4th April 2015, as part of its social responsibility to host community. Pastor Olusegun Ayodele said it will be a regular exercise.
