Time Out, a reputable publisher of guides and magazines, conducted the survey, drawing insights from over 20,000 city dwellers worldwide and its network of editors.

This commendable recognition positions Lagos as a must-visit city, emphasizing its diverse offerings and vibrant atmosphere. Lagos stands out as one of the two African cities featured in the prestigious list, alongside Cape Town (2nd) and Accra (44th).

This acknowledgment reaffirms Lagos's status as a prominent destination, not only within Africa but on the global stage.

Time Out employed a comprehensive set of criteria to assess cities, encompassing factors such as food quality and affordability, cultural richness, nightlife, community vibes, access to green spaces, historic sites, and more. Lagos excelled in these areas, contributing to its high global ranking.
